India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has shared a cryptic story on social media platform Instagram amid divorce rumours with Dhanashree Verma. On Thursday (February 20), the leg-spinner thanked god for protecting him from difficult conditions. Although he did not mention anything related to his relationship with Dhanashree, the cryptic story has worked as fuel to fire to the recent divorce rumours.

Chahal is not part of the Indian cricket team currently, which is taking part in the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai. His last professional match took place on December 5 in 2024 where he played for Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

"God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only imagine the times I've been rescued that I don't even know about. Thank you, God, for always being there, even when I don’t know it. Amen," Chahal wrote on Instagram.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have never publicly addressed any issues in their marriage or responded to rumors. This isn’t the first time Chahal has shared a cryptic post on Instagram. In January 2025, he hinted at his dedication and perseverance, emphasizing the hard work and character that led him to his current position.

"Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain. You know what all you have done to reach here. The world knows. You stand tall.
