Leeds are working on a move to sign Udinese centre-back Oumar Solet after agreeing a deal for Tarik Muharemovic, sources have told Football Insider.

Daniel Farke has made it clear that he wants to bolster his ranks at centre-back during the summer window.

Pascal Struijk has already left for Brighton after starting the majority of their Premier League games last season.

Leeds look set to sign Sassuolo star Muharemovic, while they are planning to raid another Serie A defender too this summer.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, they remain keen to add Udinese's Solet to their squad after signing the Bosnian international.

Solet was linked with a move to Elland Road before the end of last term, and they are still keen on sealing his signature despite rumours slowing down.

Solet was a regular for Udinese last season as they finished 10th in the Serie A, with several clubs linked to his services as a result.

Newcastle have been touted to move for the 26-year-old, but Leeds now looks like his most likely Premier League destination as they plot a move.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "Obviously Leeds are working hard on defensive reinforcements. They're closing in on a deal for the Bosnian centre-back Tarik Muharemovic, and I do think they would like to bring in another one as well.

"So, Solet could be one of two defenders that Leeds look to bring in in this transfer window. He's been very impressive for Udinese since joining in January 2025."

Sources: Konstantinos Mavropanos wants transfer as Leeds make move Kostas Mavropanos also on Leeds' radar amid centre-back search

Farke is targeting another centre-back addition, but Solet is not the only name being linked with a move to Elland Road.

Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Leeds are also keen on signing West Ham's Mavropanos.

He impressed for the Hammers last season despite their eventual relegation from the Premier League.
