The 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) is the third edition of the cycle of Test matches played between multiple countries over the two year window. The cycle began in June 2023 with the historic Ashes, contested between England and Australia, and is scheduled to conclude in June 2025 with the final at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

The WTC 2023-25 cycle consists of 27 series and 69 matches in the league stage. The top two teams will compete in the final at Lord’s.

Each team plays six series during the cycle, three at home and three away, with each series containing two to five Test matches.

The points system has remained unchanged from the previous edition. A win is worth 12 points, a tie worth six points each, and a draw worth four points each, with a loss garnering 0 points.

Additionally, there are penalty points for not adhering to required over rates. A team that does not follow required over rate limits, have one point deducted for each over behind.

Instead of points accumulated, the teams are ranked based on percentage of total points won out of total points contested.
