Yet another Bohs kit launch took the football world by storm, as Oasis were added to the long list of musical acts who have collaborated on the club's jerseys.

A teaser video with Paul Weller released the day before had many speculating, but there was a touch of disbelief that even Bohs had managed to pull off a coup as big as the returning giants of Britpop.

As with their collaborations with Thin Lizzy, Fontaines D.C., and Bob Marley, a chunk of the profits from Bohs' Oasis jerseys will be donated to charity. 50% of the proceeds will be split between Music Generation Ireland and Irish Community Care Manchester.

Previous kits have raised funds for medical aid in Palestine, homeless charities in Dublin, and music programmes for the youth in the city.

Bohs have received much praise for the bold designs of the jerseys, as well as their efforts to raise awareness and funds for good causes.

However, it is becoming increasingly clear that Bohs' jerseys have also revolutionised the club's finances.

Extraordinary numbers revealed behinds Bohemians' jersey drive

Speaking to Balls.ie in December after the release of this year's Fontaines D.C. kit, Bohs COO Daniel Lambert said that profits from their jersey sales were now up to seven figures, and said that membership figures were skyrocketing.

A further interview with BusinessPlus in May saw Lambert spell out the extraordinary figures behind Bohs' jerseys. The club have seen a 2,000% increase in merchandise revenue, with their jersey sales up from around 100 a year to 30,000 jerseys sold a year. Almost half of their €4.5million annual turnover is thanks to merchandise sales, with that figure up from €100,000 in 2014 to €2 million last year.

The42's David Sneyd shed light on Bohs' string of jerseys this Friday after the release of the Oasis kit in an interesting report on Friday, arguably the club's most ambitious crossover event yet.

Sneyd's report in The42 similarly spells out just how revolutionary that cash has been to the club's efforts on the pitch, with the club able to bat off interest in their brightest talent in recent weeks, such is the financial solidity they have built up over the past few years.

A huge chunk of this is thanks to the profits from Bohs' jerseys. As well as seeing the club make a public stand for positive causes and collaborate with iconic brands from the world of music, the kits have also completely changed the game when it comes to merchandise sales in the league.

It would not be a surprise to see Bohs' League of Ireland rivals make similar efforts with their jerseys in future, such is the enormous impact it has had on the club's finances.
