More infoManor Solomon faces a race against time to prove his fitness for Leeds United's top-of-the-table clash at Sheffield United. The skilful attacker is a big injury concern ahead of the Yorkshire derby.Speaking at Friday’s pre-match press conference, Farke revealed that Solomon took a big knock in the first half of the win against Sunderland. Solomon will be put through his paces by the Whites' medical team over the weekend as they continue their preparations for Monday's meeting."There’s a question mark over Manor Solomon," admitted Farke. "Hee took a nasty tackle in the last game and wasn’t able to join us in team training in the last few days.“He is progressing well, perhaps he can return to training tomorrow or Sunday. If he’s not able to train, he won’t travel with us. He’s the only question mark.”The Whites head to Bramall Lane two points clear of the Blades and full of confidence following four straight Championship wins. But who could replace Solomon in the starting XI if the Israel international is ruled out? Leeds Live has taken a look at three potential candidates:Wilfried GnontoLeeds have got some seriously good options in the wide areas. So much so that Gnonto has found himself marooned on the bench since the turn of the year (his last league start came away to Derby County on December 29). Given the outstanding form of Daniel James and Solomon, it has proven difficult for Gnonto to force his way into the side.Nonetheless, Gnonto is a big game player and has still contributed five goals and five assists in 30 league appearances. Could the 21-year-old play a big part in the run-in? You wouldn't put it past him.Largie RamazaniThe £10m summer signing has shown flashes of his undoubted quality since moving to Elland Road. Four goals and two assists is not a bad return in his first year of English football.Has Ramazani jumped ahead of Gnonto in the pecking order for a starting spot? He entered the fray as a late sub against Sunderland, with Gnonto left kicking his heels on the bench.Ramazani is a tricky, direct player who is not afraid to have a pop at goal in advanced areas. Like Gnonto, he will be itching for a start.Junior FirpoJust hear me out. Everybody knows that Firpo does his best work in the final third. He loves nothing more than to get forward and provide the width from the left flank.Yes, Firpo has improved his defensive work. He makes fewer mistakes now and doesn't switch off as much as he used to.Yet Sam Byram has proven to be a consistent performer at full-back so it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Farke could bring him back into the fold push Firpo higher up the pitch. Would it be a conservative selection? Perhaps, but Byram potentially gives them more defensive solidity for the toughest match left in United's season.
