WPL winners list

Started in 2023, the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has fast established itself as the world’s premier franchise-based T20 cricket league.

Organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) the women’s T20 competition has been moulded after the highly successful men’s Indian Premier League (IPL).

Mumbai Indians (MI), led by Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur, won the inaugural WPL title in 2023 after beating Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals (DC) by seven wickets in the final played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

DC also ended up on the losing side in the WPL 2024 final played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi with Smriti Mandhana leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to the crown in the second season of the cricket tournament.

RCB won the decider by eight wickets.
