Know schedule and where to watch IND vs ENG live streaming and telecast

The Indian men’s cricket team will be at home to face England in a five-match T20 series starting from Wednesday.

Live streaming and live telecast of all five IND vs ENG T20 matches will be available in India.

The Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the first India vs England T20 cricket match. The second match will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai while the third will take place at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.

The fourth and fifth matches of the series will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, respectively.

The two teams last met at the Providence Stadium, Guyana in the semi-finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. India won the match by 68 runs before going on to defeat South Africa in the final.

India will be led by T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Axar Patel has been appointed as the team’s vice-captain.

Fast bowler Mohammad Shami is also set to make his long-awaited return to the team for this series after a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.

Shami last represented India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia at Ahmedabad.

Youngsters Nitish Reddy, Dhruv Jurel and Harshit Rana are a part of the team, while Sanju Samson - India’s highest run-scorer in T20I cricket in 2024 - is also in the 15-member squad.

India’s last T20 series saw them get the better of South Africa 3-1 in a four-match series in November last year.

The England cricket team’s last T20 engagement was also in November, in a 3-1 triumph against the West Indies.

The upcoming series against India will also see head coach Brendon McCullum take charge of England in limited-overs cricket, having only been responsible for the Test side earlier.

Jos Buttler will lead the England cricket team, which also features some new faces like Jamie Smith, Brydon Carse and Jacob Bethell.

India hold a slight edge over England in T20 cricket head-to-head record, having won the fixture 13 times compared to England’s 11 victories.

The last bilateral T20 series between these teams saw India beat England 2-1 away from home in 2022.
