Hibs vs Hearts

Hearts carried the feelgood factor from their penalty shootout success over Rapid Vienna into last weekend's 2-1 league victory over St Johnstone and they should be too strong for rivals Hibs in the season's first Edinburgh derby.

The Jambos have won three of the last four head-to-heads and just have that extra bit of quality which could decide a close encounter.

Toulouse vs Lille

Ayyoub Bouaddi's departure from Lille to Manchester City doesn't seem to have bothered them too much as they nearly beat Paris Saint-Germain in their second game of the new Ligue 1 season before the champions rallied to nick all three points.

Nevertheless, that was impressive enough to suggest that the visitors should be too strong for a Toulouse side still looking for their first win under new boss Jens Berthel Askou.

Cagliari vs Verona

Cagliari were 4-0 winners when this pair met in the top flight last season, a campaign in which Verona were relegated, and the home side are expected to record another victory when the two resume battle in this Coppa Italia clash.

The Serie B side have had a slow start to the new campaign, needing penalties to get past Entella in the cup before failing to win either of their first two league matches. Side with Cagliari to make the class difference clear.

Real Sociedad vs Celta Vigo

Real Sociedad have only lost two of their last 14 home games, winning eight of those, and they should be too strong for a Celta Vigo team who tend to struggle on their travels.

The visitors have one win in their last six road trips and have taken only one point from their first three games of the season.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?

A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?

Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?

The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
