Don Bosco Philippines is a longstanding pillar in the development of football and youth sports in the coountry. As part of their ongoing mission to assist underprivileged youth through their Don Bosco Youth Centers, Don Bosco organizes free regular weekend football training for kids and open play for young adults. To support this vital program in all Don Bosco Centers, the National Capital Region Football Association (NCRFA), led by its president Miguel Gutierrez, donated footballs to Don Bosco Philippines.Don Bosco Football Centers offer young people especially the underprivileged an opportunity for growth through sport, and the NCRFA's donation of footballs would greatly enhance their ability to reach more children and foster their love for the game.Eric Gutierrez, a former national player and father of Philippine Football Federation president John Gutierrez, handed over the footballs to Fr. Ronilo Javines, SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Technical College, Mandaluyong City on Jan. 29, 2025.
