Chelsea are in the FIFA Club World Cup final and will face French champions Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.

Enzo Maresca's side defeated Fluminense 2-0 on Tuesday with a brace from Joao Pedro. As for matters off the pitch, the Blues' have had a successful transfer window so far.

They have signed top targets such as Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Liam Delap, bringing their total summer spend to £140m. Additionally, deals for Estevao Willian, Dario Essugo, and Mamadou Sarr had already been agreed earlier in the year.

But their business in the window is not expected to stop there, with several players still being linked with a move to west London.

Here, football.london has taken a look at the latest transfer headlines from in and around Stamford Bridge.

Alejandro Garnacho update

Chelsea have maintained their interest in Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, despite having bids for the winger rejected in January. Ruben Amorim has informed the Argentina international that he will need to find a new club for the 2025/26 season.

Napoli have shown strong interest, while Chelsea are expected to remain linked - especially if Noni Madueke’s completes a move to Arsenal. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Barcelona are in 'contact' with Garnacho's representatives after Nico Williams signed a new bumper contract at Athletic Club.

"Barcelona could have an interest in Garnacho too if a loan can be agreed with United," the journalist said.

football.london says: "Signing young talents has long been a cornerstone of Chelsea’s rebuilding strategy, and the pursuit of Garnacho fits perfectly within that vision. Chelsea aim to build a squad not only capable of immediate success but also sustainable growth, and investing in promising youngsters like Garnacho is key to that approach.

"With Garnacho likely set to leave Old Trafford this summer, this presents a timely opportunity for Chelsea to secure a player who has potential and experience at the highest level."

Mohammed Kudus blow

Tottenham have reached 'total agreement' for the signing of Chelsea-linked Mohammed Kudus, according to The Athletic. Kudus is set to undergo a medical on Thursday before signing a six-year deal with the north London club.

The 24-year-old will join the move to Chelsea's rivals for a fee of around £55million.

football.london says: "This is a significant setback for the Blues. Kudus brings exactly the kind of profile Chelsea need as they prepare for the demands of Champions League football - a competition where technical quality, versatility, and moments of individual brilliance often decide games.

"His ability to operate as an advanced midfielder, right winger, or even as a central forward makes him an invaluable asset for any top team. Missing out on his services is undoubtedly a setback, but with the transfer window still in its early stages, Chelsea have plenty of time to identify and pursue alternative targets."
