Brentford have started the season on fire, and this is a really tough away game for us. However, the signs were there last weekend that we're getting back into our groove, and hopefully the game hasn't come too early for our new signings – I can't wait to see Fofana play in particular, and think our new Angulo could potentially add a lot, too.

It'll be tight, it'll be tough – but I can see us grinding out a result here. Hopefully it's a better outcome than the last time we played them at their place, but after taking three points off the only team we didn't get anything from last season, there's every chance we can upset the bookies today.

Key differentiator: Nordi in defence will have his work cut out, but he can be the difference in defence – and help us really take this game to Brentford.

After a solid win at home I am more than happy to take an away point against Brentford, as they have made a really good start to the season (4 points from 6) and are a side who can play great football at times.

My hope is the rust from Ipswich is out of the system, which Fulham will have helped with, and we can either get a late equaliser or take the lead and hold on for a draw at least – ideally more.

Key differentiator: Noah Sadiki needs to stop their midfield from running the show, and Nordi Mukiele needs to shepherd the goal area as he did so well against Fulham. They did very well in both previous games, and can do it again.

Last week was exactly what we needed. Clean sheet. Late winner. Three points.

After the disappointment of the opening game, that's the sort of result that can really get things moving.

Brentford will be a different test.

They'll try to make it difficult, and they'll have their spells. But I think we'll suit each other. They'll want to play football, and that should give us chances to do what we do best.

The big thing is to keep the standards high. No cheap mistakes. No switching off. If we can do that, I think we've got enough to get something from this.

Brentford have started really well and look a very solid side. Beating Spurs and holding Leeds to a draw away, when they should have been out of sight shows they're not going to be easy to break down, and definitely at home.

I am actually already having flashbacks to this fixture last season.

We got a much needed win against Fulham last week, which should give us a bit of confidence, but this feels like a step up. We'll have to defend well and take whatever chances come our way.

I'd love to be proved wrong, but I think Brentford might just have too much for us.

Key differentiator: Brentford's home advantage and their momentum will increase the pressure they will put on us.

Like ourselves, Brentford exceeded expectations last season. They've picked up where they left off, and will be looking to continue that impressive home form too.

Brentford are playing some good football, and we were walloped last season at their place without really landing a punch, but I think that will give our lads the further impetus to go out there and grab a result.

Beating Fulham, and absolutely not being at our best, is giving me even further confidence to give high-flying Brentford a run for their money. A win would put the Premier League on notice.

Key differentiator: Our subs will push us over the line when tied in the second half.

Three points at home to Fulham was a big result this early in the season to get off the mark, as we have some challenging fixtures ahead – starting today.

We weren't out our best by any means on Sunday, but result was always of more importance than performance. We will need to dig in again to come away with something from the GTech if last season is anything to go by.

I think we can take a point here but I dont have the conviction to back it. Brentford have started well and probably should be sitting on six points.

Key differentiator: Momentum is a big deal in this league and Brentford's level of performance is currently above ours after two matches. Add to that they are at home and I think they will edge this affair.
