Dear Ed,

I recently read Muhammad Omar Iftikhar's article, "The 9th ICC Champions Trophy - from thrills to upsets" (March 21, 2025), and I must say it was an engaging and informative piece. In fact it is always great to read something on sports in Us magazine.

I love talking about cricket, and especially these days when we don’t get to see good cricket from our Pakistani team, talking about cricket sounds more exciting. I liked the detailed analysis of the tournament's matches, including the thrilling encounters between England and Australia, and Afghanistan's upset win over England.

And not just this, the articles also gave valuable insights into the performances of individual players, such as Rachin Ravindra's great performance, which earned him the Player of the Tournament award.

But I think the writer could have talked a little bit about the strategies used by the teams and how the tournament’s format affected the outcomes.

Good job, Omar! Hope to read more on sports articles in Us!

Dear Editor,

Us is a great platform for educating young people about our family values. I think more stories on topics like respecting elders, friendships and kindness should be published frequently in the magazine. Poets’ Corner has been a constant part of the magazine for the past 20 years. Poetry is not everyone’s cup of tea, but reading young poets makes me so happy.

Dear Editor,

"Around the world in Ramazan" (March 21, 2025) was an interesting piece. It is so fascinating to see how differently people celebrate Ramazan across the globe. The author not just beautifully gathered descriptions of the traditions, foods, and cultural events in various countries, but also emphasized on how community, generosity and kindness is practiced during Ramadan.

Especially the way the author shared his/her personal experience, it just made it even more relatable, and I could not help but think about how my Ramazan looks like.

Thank you for this wholesome piece. I would really like to read more on celebrating diversity and beauty of cultures around the world.
