There are 35 gold medals up for grabs in Paris today, enough to make a difference in the race to finish top of the pile come Sunday.

China have already grabbed one in the women’s double canoe 500m race, and in record time too, and they will be expecting to add to a healthy tally later on in the women’s 3m springboard and men’s team table tennis.

With more up for grabs in men’s canoe, and women’s boxing, China could reach the 34 golds the team was predicted to win before the final two days of competition.

There is, then, every reason to push through that Olympic fatigue you might been feeling and follow us for live coverage of day 14 in Paris.
