The first Indian to ever claim a hat-trick in the WPL, the 27-year-old has scored 385 runs for UP Warriorz and was adjudged the league’s MVP last season.Deepti has previously captained Bengal in domestic cricket, East Zone in the Senior Women's Inter-Zonal One Day Trophy and Velocity in the Women's T20 Challenge 2022.RCB WPL captain - Smriti MandhanaIndia’s leading run-scorer in women’s T20Is with 3761 in 142 innings, Smriti Mandhana was appointed as captain for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the first edition of the WPL in 2023.Mandhana became the youngest T20I captain for India when she led the team against England in 2019. The 28-year-old also led the Trailblazers to victory in the Women's T20 Challenge in 2020.She will continue in her role as captain for the upcoming campaign after leading RCB to the title in 2024. After two seasons, Mandhana has scored 449 runs in 18 matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
