Shock as popular tennis WAG and influencer Morgan Riddle body-shamed while attending the Australian Open

Influencer and tennis WAG Morgan Riddle has slammed a comment which body-shamed a photo of her attending the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Riddle, whose boyfriend is men’s world number 9 tennis player Taylor Fritz, shared a carousel of photos of herself wearing a baby blue skirt and top set outside Rod Laver Arena.

Underneath, an Instagram user commented: “It’s a boy”.

Riddle shared the comment to her Instagram story saying, “this is why every influencer is on Ozempic or has an ED (eating disorder) btw”.

“God forbid a girl has organs!!!

“Mind you I get these on everything,” the influencer followed up, referring to another picture of the 28-year-old in a bikini which a user commented, “I thought pregnant”.

Other Instagram users rushed to defend the US-born Riddle from the comment, which has received 37 replies at the time of writing.

“Don’t comment on another woman’s body you clearly don’t understand the harmful impact it can have. SHAME ON YOU,” one comment said.

“You wish you were her,” another comment said.

“I hope you don’t have daughters. This comment is disgusting. Be better,” another user wrote.

Others heaped praise on the fashion and travel influencer, complimenting the chic outfit she wore while attending her boyfriend’s tennis match.

“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Brooke Warne, daughter of late cricket great Shane Warne, said.

“Baby blue is SO your colour 🫶🏻,” another user said.

“THE QUEEN HAS ARRIVED,” another wrote.

Riddle and partner Taylor Fritz have been together for almost six years, with much of Riddle’s travel and fashion content coming from supporting Fritz while jetting around the globe while on tour for tennis.

It was in Melbourne while attending the AO in 2022 that Riddle first rose to fame, after she posted a video asking her followers to help her pick an outfit to wear to a tennis match.

Riddle’s content isn’t just jet-setting and clothes – she also regularly posts content engaging with politics, including videos with Minnesota governor Tim Walz, who was Kamala Harris’ running mate at the 2024 US election.

She boasts over 606,000 followers and 23 million likes on TikTok, 480,000 followers on Instagram, and 115,000 subscribers on YouTube.
