The inaugural edition of the FIFA-organised Arab Cup, held in Qatar in 2021, proved such a success (along with the 2022 World Cup that they also hosted), that the country will be staging the 2025 tournament and also future ones in 2029 and 2033.

The 2021 Arab Cup had everything, great games, superb goals and hugely memorable moments. It was heart-racing entertainment for the 250+ million watching from their homes around the world and even more so for those lucky souls who managed to purchase matchday seats and get even closer to the thrilling action. For those who didn't get round to securing tickets for the 2021 event or the 2022 World Cup, then the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup gives them another opportunity to experience international football at its most spectacular and glorious.

Four years ago, over 500,000 tickets were sold for the 32 Arab Cup matches played across the six Qatar venues. There were healthy crowds throughout and the atmosphere in the stadiums added the big-match feeling that such tournaments need. 63,439 fervent fans crammed into the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor to see Qatar thrash United Arab Emirates 5-0 in the quarter-finals (though the hosts would bow out in the semis). At the time, that was the biggest single highest attendance ever for a sporting event in Qatar. Another 60,000+ crowd would see Algeria crowned champions a week later at the Al Khor venue a week later, when they beat Tunisia in extra-time.

This year’s edition of the FIFA Arab Cup, which again features 16 teams from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), gets underway on December 1. Nine of the 16 sides (hosts Qatar & defending champions Algeria, plus the seven best positioned teams in the FIFA world rankings) have already qualified for the 18-day tournament, the remaining seven places will be filled by the winners of one-off qualifiers that will take place on November 25 & 26 in Qatar.

Thousands of fans from all over the Arabian region and beyond will dream of flocking to Qatar’s four host cities to catch their teams in action this December. So, naturally, the tickets will be like gold dust. Let GOAL take you through all the vital FIFA Arab Cup ticket information, including how much they will cost and where you can purchase them.
