Brentford manager Thomas Frank agrees with Arne Slot's verdict on Liverpool's Premier League title hopes

Liverpool have been in stunning form across all competitions under Arne Slot and have a great chance of winning silverware in 2025.

The Reds lead the way in the Premier League and are six points clear of second-placed Arsenal, although they can extend that gap to nine as they have a game in hand.

Some would argue that it’s too soon to make too much of the league table, but with half the season played, a six-point lead at the top is something a lot of teams would take in a heartbeat.

But Brentford boss Thomas Frank believes there are still a few more twists and turns on the cards in the Premier League title race.

Liverpool have lost just once and drawn three times in the Premier League this season, which is a stunning record for a manager taking charge of his first season in England.

Slot has made the Reds notoriously hard to beat while also getting his players to play some free-flowing attacking football, making them a treat to watch.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are still in the running and maintained their challenge with a 3-1 win against Brentford last night.

And speaking after the game, Frank feels Liverpool are yet to face a dip in form, which could happen at any point between now and the end of the season.

The Brentford boss said via BBC: “It’s a long season. I understand why Arne Slot is saying ‘We haven’t won anything yet’.

“Liverpool haven’t had a dip yet and that will most likely come, and Arsenal are picking up points when they’re not fully firing. It will go right to the end.”

What next for Liverpool?

Liverpool host Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday as they look to get another win against the Red Devils after their emphatic 3-0 win at Old Trafford earlier this season.

The Reds have cup commitments against Tottenham Hotspur and Accrington Stanley on the horizon, but in the Premier League, their next three opponents after Man United are Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Ipswich Town.

Jamie Carragher feels Liverpool will win the Premier League title this season, but with just half the season played, the Reds should stay on their toes to ensure everything goes smoothly.
