After a drama-filled game with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Detroit Lions fell to 4-2, losing due to mistakes and some learning of the rulebook. The Lions need to focus on the now, though, as they return home for a “Monday Night Football” game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs enter 5-1, and the top team of the NFC, as these two battle once again in a highly-contested matchup.“They’re playing hot football. It’s a very good team,” Campbell said. “Baker (Mayfield), you guys know I got a lot of respect for him. The way he plays, his leadership, his ability to push the ball down the field, make plays with his legs—I just think he’s playing at a high level. He’s a guy that gives them a chance anytime they’re in a game. They play really good defense. They got a good old line—those guys are tough, physical, and they play hard. They have a run game, and they got a good special teams unit. It’s a good team. It’s a really good team.”Here’s a look at our Pride of Detroit staff picks for the Lions in Week 7:Brandon Knapp (4-2): Lions 31-21 (Scouting Report, Bold Prediction, Before the Roar Podcast)Ryan Mathews (4-2): Lions 31-21Alex Reno (4-2): Lions 34-18Ty Schalter (4-2): Lions 33-28Erik Schlitt (4-2): Lions 31-27 (Scheme Breakdown, Honolulu Blueprint Offense, Defense)John Whiticar (4-2): Bucs 31-27Hamza Baccouche (3-2): Bucs 31-28Morgan Cannon (3-3): Lions 30-23 (Film Breakdown, Before the Roar Podcast)Max Gerber (3-3): Bucs 31-28Al Karsten (3-3): Lions 35-31Jeremy Reisman (3-3): Bucs 27-24 (On Paper)Kellie Rowe (3-3): Lions 27-24Meko Scott (3-3): Lions 27-21 (Before the Roar Podcast)Zac Snyder (3-3): Lions 27-24For the rest of what the POD staff predicted for the NFL, check out our Week 7 predictions: Moneyline, spread, and over/under.Now, it’s your turn to have your voice heard.
