Any time you reflect on a coaching candidate search, I think you want to start at the end.Did you get a great candidate into the seat, and we are very confident we did. When you look at the search from the outside, I’m sure it looked a little bumpy, but part of that is because during a search, we can only share so much with our supporters. We have to keep many things confidential because candidates expect that from us, but what I can tell you is that from inside the club it was a very smooth process. We were confident the entire time that we would end up with a fantastic person in this seat, and I think we did.I think until you are in this club, you don’t understand how enormous it is.We did research, we talked to people but until you cross that threshold, the magnitude of it isn’t real, so that is the first thing. The second thing we realised is that we talk about our supporters all the time as they are one thing and they are not one thing. We have millions of supporters around the world. The passion of the supporters is one of the things that attracted us to this club. We recognise that they have been frustrated, we know that results haven’t been good enough and the thing I would say to them is we will work tirelessly to get to where we all want to be, which is winning football matches. He's there and he's delighted to be there and that is the right answer for a Rangers manager. He is saying all the right things.Sprint, defend better, numbers, win and then you get confidence to get better. That is the order for Rangers and that is the way it's got to go.I think he will need to problem solve as well when he is in there. He's got to be a really strong character because they are a quiet bunch of players, but they have an intensity about them and strong mind that you would need to handle as well.Yeah, the first step is, and this is the huge one, we need wins in a row.I think this is very important, because with wins in a row you can create self-confidence, and I absolutely believe, and I saw in the morning the training, we train with intensity, we were very lively on the pitch, I see so much potential. For me, always as a coach it's very important that you bring the strength of the squad on the pitch, and this was in the past always my crucial thinking, my mindset. You can have an idea of football, but you have also to look at which players you have, and if you can bring the squad together with your style of football, with the things you demand, then you will go in a fantastic direction.I think Danny will be incredibly successful here at Rangers, and I think that for three reasons. The first is that we were incredibly impressed by his ability to take tactics and actually make them happen on the pitch. I think a lot of people talk about tactics, but you have to actually deliver them on the field, and we're very confident that Danny can do that. The second thing is man management. I think Danny will bring out the best of every one of our players, and that we will soon see the best version of each of them. And the third is that while Danny is new to this organisation, I think he gets it and has the ability to create a bond with our supporters, which is so important. He knows that winning is the only option. He knows that winning has to happen right away, and he knows he has to create that bond with our supporters. He is confident, he is technical, and I think he will probably hide it from you a little bit over the next 24 hours, but he also has a little bit of an edge to him. And I think that will serve him well. We remain incredibly optimistic about this football club. We still have everything in front of us to play for this year. I think we have yet to see the best of our squad, and I look forward to seeing what Danny can bring out of them.
