Milan’s Fikayo Tomori: Frank Lampard trying to convince player for Coventry City

Serie A Milan have been quite keen on parting ways with Fikayo Tomori this summer, with the player’s contract running out in 2027.

Sportmediaset report that Tomori’s exit is a part of Milan’s plan to hand Ruben Amorim the squad he needs to take the club to the next level. The same applies for Pervis Estupinan, who is closing in on a move to Aston Villa.

For the centre-back, Coventry City’s interest hasn’t died down yet. Frank Lampard is now personally trying to make attempts and is trying to convince the player into moving to the Sky Blues. Whether Tomori changes his mind or not remains to be seen, as he could also consider other offers that come his way.

Situation can evolve late

As things stand, it feels like no one is in a rush to act. Milan know Tomori will attract suitors and the player himself knows that, which is why he waiting for other clubs other than Coventry City to step forward for him.
