'Chase was calm and calculated'

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, speaking to Sky Sports: "Happy days, I didn't have to do anything!

"The important thing was that we managed to take wickets all the way through the innings. Hayley [Matthews] is such a big player for them but stemming the runs by taking wickets at the other end was our method today.

"Then that chase was calm and calculated. It was brilliant to watch."

On captaining the side: "Sometimes I can feel quite muddled and everything is going really quickly. But today it felt pretty calm and I was enjoying it."

On Hayley Matthews: "If we can get as many of our best balls against her, we'll put a bit more pressure on her. She played really well and the wicket was pretty good today with a quick outfield.

"We were happy to restrict them to that total in the end."

On players arriving in form: "It was a really important of our preparation to get as much cricket in as we could before playing West Indies and it showed today. Especially with the bat but the bowlers put it in good areas as well.

"We're going down to Hove, a new surface, a new day and hopefully we'll adapt to the conditions and have another good game."
