That fee is thought to be in the region of £90million.

Manchester City have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga after completing a deal worth £10million plus add-ons.

The highly-rated 17-year-old had been linked with Arsenal, but City have won the race after handing the England youth international a five-year contract.

Monga said joining the Etihad was an easy decision, admitting: “When I became aware that Manchester City were interested, I knew instantly this was the right choice for me.”

The winger also highlighted City’s record of developing academy talent as a major factor behind his decision to snub Arsenal and move to City.

Barcelona eye Gunners target

Barcelona could rival Arsenal for the signing of Bradley Barcola after identifying the PSG winger as an attacking target, according to El Nacional.

PSG are reportedly becoming increasingly open to offers for several of their forwards, with Barcola among the players attracting interest.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the France international in recent weeks as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his left-wing options.

Barcelona’s interest could now complicate Arsenal’s pursuit if PSG decide to entertain offers later in the transfer window.

Barcelona eye Saliba

Barcelona are now in the race for French defender William Saliba.

The French defender has been gathering interest across Europe, with Real Madrid and PSG also interested in the centre back.

Arsenal will listen to offers, but only in excess of €150M.

The defender impressed last year, as the Gunners won the Premier League.

Arsenal remain interested in Roma midfielder Manu Kone, but they now face growing competition from Manchester United – report Football Insider.

The Red Devils have stepped up their interest after Fabrizio Romano confirmed their proposed move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson is OFF.

Kone has emerged as one of the leading alternatives, with both Premier League clubs continuing to monitor his situation.

The France international is expected to remain a player to watch as the transfer window enters a crucial stage.

Trossard deal

Besiktas are close to finalising the deal for Leandro Trossard, according to reports.

Gokmen Ozcan says the player’s agents flew to Istanbul to iron personal terms for the Belgium international.

And Arsenal will be due a pay day, if he’s sold, by nature of a sell-on clause.

Morgan Rogers ‘top target’

Morgan Rogers is the top priority for Arsenal in the transfer window this summer, according to reports.

Rogers has impressed for Aston Villa, and has played a role in England’s World Cup success so far.

However, Villa are asking for a fee of over £100million to sell their star this summer.

Gunners linked with Mavropanos return

Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in bringing Dinos Mavropanos back to the Emirates following West Ham’s relegation, according to Sky Sports.

The Greece international is said to be attracting strong Premier League interest as he weighs up his future.

Mavropanos previously spent three years on Arsenal’s books before leaving permanently in 2022.

A surprise return to north London could now be on the cards this summer.

Gunners join Liverpool in race for Geertruida

Arsenal have added RB Leipzig defender Lutsharel Geertruida to their shortlist as they look to strengthen at right-back, according to CaughtOffside.

The Dutch international, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, is admired for his versatility, with Liverpool also monitoring the 25-year-old ahead of the new season.

Arsenal see Geertruida as a player capable of providing quality cover across the back line, while Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola is also understood to be a fan.

Reports suggest the defender could be available for around €25million, making him an attractive option for both Premier League clubs.

Nusa in World Cup spotlight amid Gunners interest

Arsenal remain in the race to sign RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, with TEAMtalk reporting Tottenham are also battling for the Norway international.

The 21-year-old, valued at up to £51.3million, will be in action tonight when Norway face England in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Nusa is expected to line up against the returning Reece James in what could be one of the night’s key individual battles.

His performances have attracted growing interest from Arsenal as Mikel Arteta searches for another left-sided attacking option.

Danilo chase

The Blues are also rivalling Man Utd and Arsenal for Brazilian midfielder, Danilo.

The Botafogo star impressed for his country at the World Cup, albeit suffering an early exit.

According to Fogao Net, Chelsea have joined the list of potential suitors.

Russians Zenit and Turkish side Galatasaray have already made direct contact.

Chelsea chase Scott

Chelsea are getting ready to prepare to move for Alex Scott.

The Bournemouth midfielder is a target for both Arsenal and Man Utd.

Journalist Gerard Romero says that his agents wants clarity over his long-term future with the LaLiga giants.

However, Barcelona officials have said they’re not in a position to offer Torres a new deal.

The forward has been linked with Arsenal in the past.

Arteta planning squad overhaul

Arsenal are prepared to sanction a major squad overhaul this summer as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his title-winning side.

CBS Sports reported back in May suggested that the Gunners are willing to let as many as EIGHT players leave.

Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, Ethan Nwaneri, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz, Martin Ødegaard and Cristhian Mosquera are all reportedly facing uncertain futures.

Havertz and Ødegaard are entering the final two years of their contracts, while Mosquera is attracting interest from Atletico Madrid after arriving for just £13million from Valencia last summer.

The departures would help fund Arsenal’s spending plans, with Arteta still targeting reinforcements in attack including Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola who could cost around £250million combined.

When Arteta was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City, he watched the Catalan constantly overhaul title-winning squads which worked as a successful recipe to keep dominating.

The Basque boss is hoping to do the same in North London.

Barcola still on Gunners’ radar

Bradley Barcola remains firmly on Arsenal’s shortlist after fresh reports suggested PSG could be open to selling one of their attacking stars this summer.

The France international has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Liverpool both monitoring his situation.

Barcola enhanced his reputation with an impressive World Cup campaign, further increasing interest in his future.

Any deal would still be complicated, but Arsenal are continuing to keep a close eye on developments as they weigh up their options out wide.

Arsenal pushing for Rogers

Arsenal remain determined to sign Morgan Rogers despite Aston Villa’s reluctance to sell their star attacker this summer.

The Gunners are said to be very keen on the England international, and is their reported top target.

Villa are believed to value Rogers at around £130million, although Arsenal hope a deal can eventually be struck for less.

Rogers remains Mikel Arteta’s dream signing to strengthen his attack ahead of the new season.

The Gunners are said to be pushing ahead with a deal worth around £35million, with the Greece international lined up as Leandro Trossard’s replacement following his move to Besiktas.

Tzolis enjoyed a superb campaign for Brugge, registering 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.

The move is not expected to affect Arsenal’s pursuit of Morgan Rogers, with the Aston Villa star remaining Arteta’s dream attacking target this summer.
