Kilkenny's clash wth Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1A has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch at UPMC Nowlan Park.The match was due to throw-in at 1.45pm at the home of the Cats but following a spell of heavy rain and a subsequent pitch inspection on Sunday monring, the surface has been deemed unplayable with a new date to be announced in due course.On Saturday it was announced that Kerry's Division 1 clash with Tyrone on Sunday has been moved from O’Neill’s Healy Park to Pomeroy.The match was initially set to be part of a double-header with the same two counties going head-to-head in the Ladies National Football League.The Ladies game will still be played at the venue in Omagh but the men’s game has now been switched to Pomeroy.Elsewhere two of Sunday's contests fell foul to the wet and wild weather. The Division 3 encounter meeting of Sligo and Clare fell victim after Markievicz Park failed to pass a pitch inspection.Wexford and Wicklow's Leinster Division 4 derby, that was originally scheduled for Sunday, has also been postponed. A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced.The match was seen as a key fixture in the promotion battle with Wexford top on maximum points with Wicklow winning two of their three games to date.Finally the Allianz Football League match between Fermanagh and Offaly will now be played in St Josephs GAA, Ederney while the Louth and Leitrim match in the Allianz Hurling League will now be played in Protection & Prosperity Louth GAA Training Centre, Darver.
