Confirmed Liverpool v Brentford Premier League team news: Jordan Henderson starts on Anfield return

Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has made two changes to the starting XI for this afternoon’s Premier League game against Liverpool at Anfield (4pm kick-off BST, live on Sky Sports).

The Bees close their 2025/26 campaign against Arne Slot’s side knowing a win or a draw could earn a place in European football for the first time in the club’s history, depending on results elsewhere.

Jordan Henderson starts for the first time since March’s draw at Leeds United on his return to the side where he spent 12 years, captaining the Reds to both Premier League and Champions League glory.

Kevin Schade also comes back into the team, with Mikkel Damsgaard moving onto the bench and Yehor Yarmoliuk not named in the matchday squad.

Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah are both named in Arne Slot's starting XI for the duo's respective last Liverpool games.
