Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan on Sunday, January 19, lived up to his promise, as he performed the thigh-five celebration with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan , after thrashing Windies by a whopping 127 runs in the first of two Tests in Multan. After Day 2 of the game, Sajid had said that he wanted to do the celebration with Babar and Rizwan if he managed to take five wickets in the second innings.

Sajid masterminded Pakistan’s emphatic 127-run victory against the West Indies with a match haul of nine wickets in the first Test on Sunday.

Sajid followed his four-wicket haul in the first innings with 5/50 as the Windies were bowled out for a paltry 123 in the second after being set a target of 251 runs on a spinning track.

“Crowds and kids celebrate that way everywhere. Kamran Ghulam does it on the ground with me. My wish is to do it with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan after I pick up a five-wicket haul," Sajid had told the media after the end of the second day's play.

After Pakistan won the first Test by 127 runs, Babar and Rizwan joined Sajid for the celebration. Watch the video here:

Alick Athanaze, playing in just his 12th Test, made a fighting 55 off 68 deliveries before he became Sajid's fifth victim with inexperienced Windies resistance folding in the second session on Day 3.

Sajid replicated his first-innings show with the new ball by yet again removing the top four batters as the tourists limped to 54/5 inside the first session which saw 11 of the 12 wickets falling to the spinners.

Leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed, who shared the new ball with Sajid, claimed figures of 4/27 that included the wickets of Kevin Sinclair (10) and Gudakesh Motie (0) off successive deliveries with both edging to Salman Ali Agha in the slips as the tourists lost their last four wickets without scoring a run.
