Abdul Rauf vows to turn Kh Nadeem’s vision into reality

LAHORE - Newly elected Additional Secretary of the Lahore Region Cricket Association Abdul Rauf Khan has expressed his commitment to serving the cricket community with honesty, dedication and professionalism, saying the responsibility entrusted to him is not merely a position but a trust.

Abdul Rauf Khan said he would make every effort to live up to the confidence placed in him by Lahore Region Cricket Association President Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed and Khizra Cricket Club Chairman Abid Hussain.

He described his election from Khizra Cricket Club to the important position of Additional Secretary as a great honour and a motivation to work harder for the promotion of cricket.

Khan said his priorities include strengthening club cricket, ensuring transparent administration, encouraging talented players and creating better opportunities for the cricket fraternity across Lahore.

He added that the respect and cooperation of organisers, club officials, coaches, umpires and all stakeholders would remain a key focus to build a positive cricketing environment.

“Turning Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed’s vision into reality is my mission,” Abdul Rauf Khan said, adding that merit, transparency, unity and cricket development would guide their efforts to make Lahore Region one of the country’s leading cricket associations.

He further pledged to promote collective decision-making and practical measures to restore and enhance Lahore Region’s historic reputation while continuing to produce talented players and administrators for Pakistan cricket.
