There’s another quarterfinal which is supposed to take place later today and it is a big one - India vs Afghanistan at 10:30 a.m. IST. Pray to the rain Gods to have some mercy!

The two Indian archers in men’s individual compound event have won their round of 32 matches!

Sahil Jadhav beats Jamiyangombo Purevdorj of Mongolia 149-137. That’s a fantastic score from the India. He shot nine inners 10s and just one 9 in the entire match.

Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru had a much closer contest against Indonesia’s Sostar Andaru Rinaldi where the Indian won 144-142.

The two Indians will be back in action in 10 minutes for the next round where they will face each other.
