Man City pair targeted

Joskvo Gvardiol and Ruben Dias could both follow Pep Guardiola out of the Manchester City exit door this summer.

Following the departure of their legendary manager, other clubs could be looking to take advantage of the uncertainty at Etihad Stadium.

The Bundesliga champions were in talks to sign Gordon before Barca swooped in and agreed a fee with Newcastle United that Bayern were unwilling to hit.

Jones to join Konate in leaving Liverpool?

Ibrahima Konate is not the only senior player potentially departing Liverpool this summer as Curtis Jones is being linked with moves.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are negotiating a deal for the midfielder with both clubs in contact and Jones open to the move.

It is now being widely-reported that Ibrahima Konate will be departing Liverpool as a free agent this summer.

The Frenchman was out-of-contract at the end of the campaign and the two parties have not been able to reach an agreement over fresh terms.

Ibrahima Konate makes U-turn

Despite claiming just weeks ago that he was on the verge of signing a new contract, Ibrahima Konate is set to leave Liverpool.

The French defender can depart as a free transfer this summer and follow Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson out the door.

Last month, after beating Everton 2-1, Konate confirmed that an agreement on a new deal was "close".

He added: “For sure there is a big chance I’m here next season. This is what I always wanted. I’m waiting to sort the contract but when everything is sorted you will have to ask (sporting director) Richard Hughes what I said to him in September, November and he’s going to say something to make everyone quiet."

But Konate has made a U-turn and is leaving Liverpool.

He will not renew his contract and instead leave without a transfer fee.
