Newcastle welcomed a new goalscoring hero following the departure of Alexander Isak as Nick Woltemade struck a debut winner in a 1-0 defeat of Premier League bottom side Wolves. The German, signed for £69 million (€79.7m) from Stuttgart last month, headed home after 29 minutes at St James' Park, securing the Magpies' first win of the season and leaving Wolves still without a point after four matches. An Antoine Semenyo penalty just after the hour proved decisive as Bournemouth continued their bright start to the campaign by beating Brighton 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium.Semenyo had also set up Alex Scott's 18th-minute opener for the Cherries, but that was cancelled out by Kaoru Mitoma after the break.Gabriel Gudmundsson turned into his own net as Fulham snatched a last-gasp 1-0 win over Leeds - their first victory of the season - at Craven Cottage. The game had looked destined to end goalless when the Swede got an unfortunate touch to a Fulham corner in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Two other games in the top flight ended goalless, with Everton and Aston Villa playing out a stalemate at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and unbeaten Crystal Palace and Sunderland doing likewise at Selhurst Park.Villa remain the only side in the top five tiers of English football still to score a goal this season.
