No. 20 Utah Dominates Arkansas, Improves to 2

SALT LAKE CITY – The 20th-ranked Utah football team built a 26-point halftime lead on the way to racing past Arkansas, 43-10, in front of a sold-out crowd of 51,532 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday night.

The Utes improved to 2-0 on the season while the Razorbacks dropped to 1-1 with the defeat. Utah has now scored 30 or more points in eight straight games dating back to the 2025 season, the longest active streak in the FBS of games scoring 30-plus points.

Morgan Scalley's team took control of the game by rattling off four straight touchdown drives, a span that covered the end of the second quarter and the beginning of the third. Utah's offense piled up 260 yards of total offense in the first half, including 178 yards through the air.

The Utes surpassed 400 total yards for the second straight week, outgained the Razorbacks by more than 100 yards and were a perfect 6-for-6 in the red zone. They also converted 6-of-11 attempts on third and fourth downs. Arkansas' quarterbacks were limited to just 22 completions in 48 attempts, the second straight game in which the Utes have held the opposition to a completion percentage under 50 percent.

Wayshawn Parker found the end zone three times for the second consecutive week, including a pair of scores in the final two minutes of the opening half. In addition to leading the team with 53 yards and two TDs on the ground, Parker finished the night with five receptions for a career-best 65 receiving yards and another score.

Devon Dampier put together an efficient passing performance, completing 18-of-24 attempts for 261 yards and two scores. He also added his first two rushing touchdowns of 2026. One of Dampier's go-to targets on the night was tight end Noah Bennee, who established a new career-high with 113 receiving yards, with a 57-yard reception, and his first Utah touchdown. Bennee was one of 10 different receivers to record at least one catch.

Another strong effort by Utah's defense was led in part by defensive tackle Jireh Moe, who collected two TFLs, including his first sack of the season and a career-high eight tackles. Johnathan Hall matched Moe's total with eight stops of his own and added a sack and pass break up. Elijah Elliss and Nate Tilmon also tallied sacks for the Utes.

Jackson Bennee set up Utah's second touchdown with his first interception of the year, while Elijah Reed and Karson Kaufusi both batted down multiple passes. Reed and Kaufusi's pass breakups contributed to a team total of 13, the second-highest single-game total in program history and most since 1998. Elijah Reed and James Chenault were also credited with multiple PBUs.
