To have the opportunity to do this against two top South American teams is significant.“Our aim has been to line up matches that will best support the team’s on-field development in conditions as close as possible to the ones they will experience in June and July next year.”CommBank Socceroos Head Coach Tony Popovic said he was looking forward to another opportunity to play in the United States, ahead of next year’s FIFA World Cup.“This is another great opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a World Cup host nation, following our trip to Canada and the United States in October,” Popovic said.“Once again, it’s a great chance to test ourselves against two quality South American opponents and expose the team to different styles of play.“After this camp, there will only be one more FIFA International Window in March before the World Cup squad is selected, so every camp and every match is crucial.”Fans in Australia will be able to watch Venezuela v CommBank Socceroos and Colombia v CommBank Socceroos thanks to Football Australia’s broadcast partner, Paramount Australia.Venezuela v CommBank SocceroosDate: Friday, November 14 (local)Venue: Shell Energy Stadium, Houston, TexasKick-off: 8pm local/12pm AEDT (Saturday, November 15)Tickets: https://www.ticketmaster.com/Broadcast: Paramount+Colombia v CommBank SocceroosDate: Tuesday, November 18 (local)Venue: Citi Field, Queens, New YorkKick-off: 8pm local/11am AEDT (Wednesday, November 19)Tickets: https://www.mlb.com/mets/tickets/specials/Broadcast: Paramount+FA+ Launches: More than a Ballot
