Eden Hazard backs Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid: “He has everything he needs”

After the disappointment of the last two seasons, Real Madrid decided to start their next project under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho, a name that generated both optimism and pessimism among the fans. A month into this new season, the Portuguese coach has largely achieved good results so far, even though the team's performances have not been entirely convincing, especially while playing away from home.

Still, it is early days, and there is no doubt that Mourinho can once again bring the Merengue team back to the summit of Spanish and European football. One individual who believes that the Portuguese tactician can do so is the former Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard, who also got to play with Mourinho during their time at Chelsea.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, the Belgian spoke to the media while attending a golf event, and expressed his belief that the Portuguese coach would do well with Los Blancos:

"I know José, and for me, it is nice to see him at Real Madrid, a club that is also special to me. He will do well. He has the experience and everything he needs, and the team is very good, so we will see."

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward also commented on Vinicius Junior, who has been struggling to score goals this season:

"We all want Vinicius to score goals, but in the end, what matters is that Real Madrid win, so whether he scores or not is not that important."

Having worked with Jose Mourinho and played for Real Madrid, Eden Hazard is in a very good position to comment on how this partnership will go down. Thus, it is encouraging to see him believe that the Portuguese tactician would prove to be a good fit for the Merengue team, and hopefully, his words will turn out to be true and Mourinho will lead Los Blancos to some big title wins this season.
