Blues youngster Dastan Satpayev, who has joined Burnley on loan, has been made to wait for his Clarets debut against West Ham today.

While the 18-year-old was registered in time to play in the fixture, he is still waiting for his international clearance to come through. Satpayev will hope to play when Burnley visit West Brom next weekend.

Fenerbahce have issued a strong statement denying they hold an interest in Chelsea's Jamie Gittens.

The Turkish side have been linked with the Blues winger, who has been tipped for a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, it seems he won't be going to Fenerbahce, whose statement read: "Reports circulating in some media outlets today regarding our club's interest in Chelsea FC player Jamie Gittens are completely unfounded and do not reflect the truth.

"We once again clearly state that attempts to manipulate Fenerbahce Sports Club through false transfer claims and artificially created agendas will have no effect. Fenerbahçe conducts its sporting structure, transfer policy and future planning in all branches, especially football, in accordance with its own strategy, needs, and established programs.

"Therefore, we expect this approach of using our club's name to create public opinion and steer Fenerbahce towards certain directions to cease."

We told you earlier (8:58 post) that Tosin Adarabioyo was being looked at by Benfica.

It has now emerged that Marseille are also interested in the defender, according to Sky Sports. With Chelsea's ranks crammed with defenders, Adarabioyo has been earmarked as a player to be sold or loaned out.

Everton are reportedly leading the race to sign Liam Delap, who has been told he can leave Chelsea this summer.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the ex-Man City striker, but it is the Toffees who are at the front of the queue at present, according to TEAMtalk.

The Blues want in the region of £40m for Delap.

Another Enzo Fernandez update.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City's interest in the Chelsea midfielder isn't over. He says City remain in talks with Fernandez's agents and that a move could be completed in the final two weeks of the window, potentially for less than the £120m the Blues want.

Romano adds that Chelsea would still be happy to keep Fernandez if a deal can't be struck.

Football finance expert and ex-Man City advisor Stefan Borson reckons Enzo Fernandez could still be on the move this summer.

While City missed Chelsea's Friday's 5pm deadline to meet their valuation, Borson still believes a move could materialise. He told Football Insider: "I think from what we know, there is contact between the clubs and the players and intermediaries.

"They know City want the player. I think the player wants to come to City, he wants to leave Chelsea. And I think Chelsea want to sell.

"From a contractual position, they're quite keen to trade him on. Chelsea, as we know, have a unique way of doing things."

Xabi Alonso has warned that the pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad may have been the 'last' game for some players.

The Blues finished their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 victory against the Spanish side on Saturday. Following the game, Alonso gave his assessment to club channels, where he sent a transfer hint about some players who were involved in the match.

"It was a very good last preparation game," he said. "For some players it was the first one and the last one. For us, there were some good things, some things we can improve. It's normal at this moment for some players."

According to reports in France, Chelsea want £60m for Nicolas Jackson, who is back with the Blues following his Bayern Munich loan spell.

He could soon be on his way again, with Spurs, Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid all credited with an interest. However, the Blues' hefty valuation is putting sides off, according to RMC Sport.

That is especially so in the case of Villa, who would prefer a loan deal.

While Arsenal and Spurs may have designs on signing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen this summer, it appears he has always had his eye on Chelsea.

Osimhen saw a move to Stamford Bridge break down on transfer deadline day in 2024, with the forward joining Galatasaray on loan instead, before signing on a permanent deal with the Turkish giants a season later.

Osimhen's international team-mate William Troost-Ekong spoke about the striker in 2025, revealing who he supports and the amount of interest he has seen in the star.
