Washington Freedom hold the upper hand in the head-to-head between the teams, winning four of six clashes against MI New York, who have managed just two victories.

Both the league stage matches in MLC 2025 between Washington Freedom and MI New York were won by the former earlier in the season.

The winner of the final between these sides on Monday will also become the most successful team in Major League Cricket, the United States’ top-tier T20 tournament.

MI New York won the inaugural edition of MLC in 2023, while Washington Freedom won the trophy last season and are the defending champions.
