Barcelona hope ‘Flick factor’ can convince Alphonso Davies

Alphonso Davies keeps on being linked with a move to Barcelona, and several other clubs, as he looks set to leave Bayern on a free transfer in the summer.

The Canada international’s agent is thought to have held meetings with Barcelona and Real Madrid already, but it’s still not clear where he will play his football next season.

Mundo Deportivo think that Barcelona are in with a good chance of landing Davies due to the “Flick factor.”

Hansi Flick worked with Davies previously at Bayern and actually handed him his debut during the club’s treble-winning season.

Davies went on to make 29 appearances that season for the Bavarian giants, leading MD to think he’d probably be pretty happy to work with Flick again at Barcelona.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are also being linked with Davies right now, suggesting he may have his pick of clubs when his contract expires in the summer.
