In the ongoing Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) Qualifier 1 match between Lucknow Lions and Haryanvi Hunters, the Elvish Yadav-led suffered a 52-runs defeat while chasing a massive total of 199 runs.

The Anurag Dwivedi-led side, batting first, went all guns blazing and amassed 198/5 on the board after ten overs. Aman Deep Singh was the star with the bat for his brilliant fifty. Deep scored 54 (17), which featured six fours and five sixes.

Ashish Kumar Meena too jumped onto the bandwagon and smashed a quickfire 40 (8), which featured one four and six sixes. In reply, Elvish Yadav demoted himself in the batting order and came to bat when Hunters lost three quick wickets.

Elvish came to bat when the Hunters were 7/3 after one over. Elvish got off to a positive start as he smashed a big six on the first ball of his innings but returned to the pavilion on the following delivery after Jay Dudhane took a catch at the boundary ropes.
