Naveen-ul-Haq is all set to return to international cricket after being selected for the upcoming three-match T20I series against India in Delhi. This series will also be Ibrahim Zadran's first as Afghanistan's T20I captain.Naveen has endured a frustrating long spell on the sidelines as a result of a shoulder injury that initially ruled him out of the Asia Cup last year and the T20 World Cup earlier this year. He subsequently underwent surgery for a stress fracture in his right shoulder.The 26-year-old, who has already retired from ODI cricket after the 2023 World Cup, last featured for Afghanistan in December 2024.
