"I believe his ability to harness technology and interpret data in health and wellness will give us an advantage moving forward and keep our student-athlete experience on the cutting edge."The Brookville, Ohio native will oversee the full integration of performance, training and recovery over all facets of the program, developing individualized plans for each student-athlete. Stone will manage all data collection and analysis, including the use of Catapult, which captures every player's movement in practice and games."I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Bearcats Football program and collaborate with an exceptional staff," Stone said. "Our goal is to integrate data-driven insights through a fully aligned, collaborative approach across all departments. His innovative approach and deep understanding of analytics will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our commitment to the overall student-athlete experience."In addition to the Reds, Stone's experience includes one year at Ohio State as a sport science researcher as well as three years at West Virginia where he earned his PhD in Applied Coaching and Sport Sciences and served as the sport scientist for the men's basketball program and supplementary roles with the Mountaineers football program and various Olympics sports teams.Stone also holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Miami University.
