Canadian tennis star Denis Shapovalov is officially off the market, as he and Mirjam Bjorklund (now Mirjam Shapovalov) have tied the knot.

The couple got engaged two summers ago after Shapovalov proposed to Bjorklund at a beach in Bastad, Sweden.

Photos were posted Friday of their incredible wedding, which took place in Zakynthos, Greece, at a venue that overlooks the Ionian Sea.

“Game, set and match,” Vogue Scandinavia wrote on Instagram. “Pro tennis players, Swedish Mirjam Shapovalov and Canadian Denis Shapovalov have tied the knot with a small and sentimental Grecian ceremony, exchanging vows against the sweeping backdrop of the Ionian Sea, with only their nearest and dearest there to bear witness.”

Shapovalov is one of Canada’s best-known male tennis players. He is currently ranked 28th in the world and was as high as No. 10 in September 2020. The 26-year-old has won four ATP Tour singles titles and reached the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2021.

Bjorklund, who was born in Stockholm, Sweden, continues to play professional tennis herself. The 27-year-old was ranked as high as 123rd in the world in June of 2022.
