Chesser got his move done while a big Charlie Curnow play his breaing.

Plenty more to come but unitl then we’ll be back from Monday 7am.

Goodbye for now.

“The interest in him is almost becoming unhealthy at this point because there’s no story there,” list manager Jason Cripps says on Trade Radio.

“We don’t give up. Those players are hard to find, A-grade talent and quality people. We will do everything in our power to keep Zak long term.”

The Demons have been busy revamping their coaching staff following the appointment of head coach Steven King.

They’ve announced Matthew Scarlett, Jared Rivers and Rory Atkins have all joined his panel earlier today.

Scarlett will be a part-time specialist coach, Rivers will be a backline assistant and Atkins will be a development coach.

“It’s really exciting to welcome Jared back to the club in an assistant coaching capacity,” Melbourne general manager of AFL football performance Alan Richardson said.

“He has an incredibly strong understanding of the game and significant experience, having held coaching positions at the Pies, in the VAFA and with the Saints.

Away from the trade space West Coast AFLW co-captain Charlotte Thomas spoke during the week ahead of he 50th straight game having not missed a match since being drafted.

The Eagles travel to Adelaide knowing a win will go a long way to securing finals.

He joined Trade Radio this afternoon.

“I got a call two hours ago and then went to the club to do some media stuff,” he said.

“We’re confident it was going to get done and appreciate the Eagles getting it done quickly.

“It’s a two-year deal, which is a great opportunity to get settled back in Melbourne.

“I have great confidence in my body and I’m looking forward to having my first full crack in a pre-season.

“I think the young group of boys over at West Coast are keen to get better and the enviroment over there was great.”

Following Geelong’s offer late yesterday, Sydney are reportedly pulling together their own audacious bid for the Blues star forward.

The Swans were long seen as the likely other option beside Geelong and will package players and picks as part of the bid.

Carlton remained adamant this morning that they want to keep Curnow.
