Villa close to defender

Aston Villa are reportedly close to sealing a deal to sign Pervis Estupinan from AC Milan.

The West Midlands side are keen on adding the full-back as a replacement for Lucas Digne.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that personal terms have been agreed and the Ecuadorian wants to move to Villa Park.

He previously played for manager Unai Emery at Villarreal.

Trossard unveiled

Leandro Trossard has been unveiled to Besiktas fans following his move from Arsenal.

The new signing was shown off in front of thousands of Turkish fans as he walked around the pitch at the Besiktas Stadium.

Gyokeres role in Alvarez deal

Arsenal are reportedly exploring the possibility of offering Viktor Gyokeres in a swap deal for Julian Alvarez.

TalkSPORT have claimed that the Swede could be used in an attempt to convince Atletico Madrid into a transfer.

Atletico are interested in the former Sporting Lisbon star but the Gunners are not completely sure of parting with him.

Leeds target medical

Tarik Muharemovic is due to complete his move to Leeds from Sassuolo.

The defender reportedly arrived in the UK on Thursday for his medical ahead of the £34million transfer.

Should the transfer be completed, then he would be the club’s second most expensive deal of all time.

It would be just £1m short of the £35m paid to Hoffenheim for Georgino Rutter in 2023.

United ‘should sign Wharton’

Manchester United have been told to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton by former assistant coach Rene Meulensteen.

He told Tipman Tips: “I always like good, technically gifted footballers in the midfield.

“I’ve liked Adam Wharton for United for a while now because he is so good on the ball and very calm under pressure.

“He finds any of those front five with one decisive pass, and he rips the opposition right open, and I love that.”

The midfielder is a free agent after leaving Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

The Athletic have claimed that he had interest from “several top European clubs”.

New Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner has insisted the club are ready to replace Manchester City-bound Elliot Anderson.

He said: “When you lose and sell such a great player like Elliot, you can’t replace him one-to-one because he’s just doing so well.

“But yes, we defined our profile of midfielders, what we want to add. We have already identified them and now we have to get the deals done.

“The club is really working hard on it and as soon as the ink is dry, we will let you know.

“I think I have the profit from selling Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, and now we want to replace him.

“Now we are looking where we can strengthen the squad, with the profiles we defined, and then it’s how to get these deals over the line.”

Previously, this was worn by French defender Ibrahima Konate, who has left to Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer

Leeds are keen to replace the departed Pascal Strujk with relegated Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Mavropanos seems to fit the Leeds dynamic with his tall and aerial dominance being a good match for Daniel Farke’s men.

Leeds are yet to submit a first bid and West Ham want to keep him despite going down.

Barcelona are set to unveil Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi after he completed a medical ahead of his £21m move.

However, their initial £37m bid was rejected by Benfica as Silva sees him as a fundamental part of his Benfica side next season.

Schjelderup comes off the back of a great World Cup, assisting three and scoring one against England in the quarter-finals.

Bergvall wanted by Forrest

Tottenham have rejected Nottingham Forrest’s £38m bid for Lucas Bergvall.

Oliver Glasner is keen to replace the departed Elliot Anderson after his move to Manchester City.

Reports have suggested Bergvall has asked to leave the club due to his game time being uncertain after the signings of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.

Forrest are believed to return an improved £45m bid over the next week with Spurs fixed on a £50m price tag.
