Rennes are not done yet in this summer transfer window as they pursue a move for Lazio centre-forward Boulaye Dia (29), according to Ouest-France. Although they have the very reliable Estéban Lepaul in their ranks, Rennes look a bit short of personnel upfront for a campaign that will see them compete in Ligue 1 and in the Europa League. Signings Issa Soumaré and Eliezer Mayenda are yet to get into gears, and Rennes haven't properly replaced Breel Embolo.Parting ways with the Switzerland international centre-forward was always going to lead Rennes back into the transfer market. Ouest-France understands that Rennes are in active talks to offer Lazio striker Boulaye Dia a way back into regular first-team football. The former Reims centre-forward just had a season to forget in Rome, where he only started 14 games for three goal contributions.
