Australian Open 2026: Full order of play, Tuesday 20 January - all matches, complete schedule at first Grand Slam tennis tournament of season

Madison Keys and Jannik Sinner begin their title defences at the 2026 Australian Open on Tuesday (20 January).

USA tennis star Keys returns to the site of her maiden Grand Slam women's singles title in a bid to go back-to-back at Melbourne Park, starting in round one against Oleksandra Oliynykova.

For Sinner, the men's world No. 2 is going for a historic threepeat, a third consecutive triumph at the Australian Open. The Italian takes on Hugo Gaston on Rod Laver Arena.

Also in action on day three are two-time champion Naomi Osaka, U.S. men's No. 1 Ben Shelton, and Olympic bronze medallist Lorenzo Musetti. Seven-time major singles champion Venus Williams also starts her doubles campaign alongside Ekaterina Alexandrova.
