Pakistan vs USA T20 World Cup LIVE Score: Shayan Jahangir is leading the charge for the USA in their chase of 191 against Pakistan in Colombo. The Pakistan-born batter is nearing his half-century for one-down USA. Sahibzada Farhan's blistering half-century steered Pakistan to 190/9 in their T20 World Cup clash. Pakistan were on course to post 200 or more, but a spectacular collapse saw them lose five wickets in the space of just 10 balls. Shadley van Schalkwyk was the pick of the bowlers for the USA, finishing with brilliant figures of 4/25 to take his tally in the tournament to seven wickets. Pakistan finished their innings on a bittersweet note, posting a target of 191 for the USA after a chaotic finish in Colombo. For the majority of the afternoon, a total well beyond 200 seemed like a formality. For a long time, it looked like a 200+ total was a formality. Thanks to a blistering 73 off 41 balls from Sahibzada Farhan, Pakistan were cruising. Supported by a classy 46 from captain Babar Azam and a late-innings cameo from Shadab Khan, the scoreboard was ticking at a rate that had the USA bowlers searching for answers. However, a late collapse sees them miss out on 200 plus.

This is the third game to be played at this venue, and it will be a fresh pitch. What we’ve seen here at the SSC is extra bounce, which has surprised everyone. When we compare across all venues, this has had the most bounce, which is unusual. Usually, red-soil pitches like Mumbai give you the most bounce. I think, will be back to usual SSC conditions. They won’t need to worry about what happened in the previous game, with batters getting out to shorter balls or the extra bounce. They reached out and tried to take the ball on the front foot, thinking it would bounce around waist height, but they committed far too much. Pull back a little, pick the length. Same amount of grass - three millimetres on offer. Nicely rolled in, and hence it looks a lot better. It’s back to usual batting conditions. You’ll hit through the line, more runs on offer. Batting first or batting second really doesn’t matter. It comes down to what you do out here. I’d say 175 if you bat first - it comes on nicely for the batsman.
