NSW Blues star Liam Martin has become the latest NRL player to call out social media abuse after being subject to an abhorrent Instagram message from one punter on Wednesday night.

FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports, is the only place to watch every game of every round in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership, LIVE with no ad-breaks during play. New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited-time offer.

Martin shared the message on his Instagram story in the wake of Queensland’s 26-24 win over NSW in Game 2, captioning it: “Don’t be like Beau”.

In the message, Beau wrote Martin was “the biggest grub to ever hit New South Wales”.

“You are a disgrace to rugby league and should never ever touch the football again,” the message later continued, while it also contained a number of particularly offensive comments that foxsports.com.au has chosen not to publish.

It comes after Knights winger James Schiller revealed an abusive message he had received from one person after Newcastle’s win over Manly, including telling him to “count your days”.

“I will f***ing end your life” the fan added.

The man was later charged with use carriage service to menace/harass/offend by police and granted conditional bail to appear at the Belmont Local Court on July 30.
