Nick Kyrgios makes feelings clear on Jack Draper as star prepares for seismic Alex de Minaur clash

Nick Kyrgios believes Jack Draper will lose to Alex de Minaur in their US Open quarter-final clash later today.

All eyes will be on the 22-year-old when he steps out at the Arthur Ashe Stadium as he bids to become the third Briton to win the competition this century.

Andy Murray was the first, with the former world No 1 beating Novak Djokovic to claim his first Grand Slam back in 2022. And Emma Raducanu was the second, with the 21-year-old getting the better of Canada's Leylah Fernandez just three years ago.

He was too strong for Zhang Zhizhen in round one and has since proceeded to beat Facundo Daiz, Botic van de Zandschulp and Tomas Machac. His performance against Machac was particularly impressive on Monday, with Draper winning 6-3, 6-1, 6-2. Speaking after that win, Draper said he was happy to make the quarter-finals. He also felt he played at a 'decent level' and was proud to make it further than last year, too.
