The big upcoming ICC event that everyone is going to be looking forward to is the Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament is going to return after 8 years and is to be held in Pakistan. The country will be hosting an ICC tournament for the first time after ODI World Cup 1996.

Though, there have been concerns if the tournament will be held there at all, especially since the reports are coming of India not going to travel due to political concerns. In between all this, ICC has shown one of their big concerns to Pakistan.

An ICC team visited Pakistan for inspecting the venues along with the situation regarding security concerns. Reportedly, the ICC expressed their concerns about the venues, which are currently being renovated. They are concerned if the renovations will be finished in time for the tournament.

Reports also mention that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been given a deadline of January 31, 2025 to finish the renovation of the venues. A source said that while ICC have expressed a bit of concerns regarding venues, it should not be any major thing to worry for them.
