Birds Face off against No. 6 Seeded Drake at MVC Championships

Silvia Pomarolli and the Birds will face No. 6 Drake at MVC Championships

ST LOUIS, MO.-- Illinois State women's tennis (13-7, 6-2 MVC) was tabbed as the No. 3 seed for the MVC Championships. The Birds will face off against the No. 6 seeded Drake Bulldogs (5-15, 2-6 MVC) as announced by the league office on Sunday (March. 20).

The 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championships are held in Valparaiso, Indiana (hosted by Valparaiso University). The Championships will begin on April 25. The final day of competition will conclude on April 27.

THE BRACKET

Quarterfinal 1- No. 4 Belmont vs No. 5 UNI (April 25, 10:00 a.m.)

Quarterfinal 2- No. 3 Illinois State vs No. 6 Drake (April 25, 2:00 p.m.)
