Arsalan’s blistering ton powers Khizra Club into quarterfinals

LAHORE - Captain Muhammad Arsalan smashed a superb unbeaten century as Khizra Club defeated Young Muzzang Gymkhana by seven wickets to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Yasin Akhtar T20 Club Cricket Tournament at the Model Town Whites Ground. Young Muzzang Gymkhana posted 166-7 in 20 overs with Usman Siddique top-scoring with 70 and Ghulam Mustafa 32. For Khizra Club, Abrar Khan claimed three wickets and Daniyal Tariq took two. Khizra Club reached home (167-3) in just 15.4 overs, thanks to Captain Arsalan, who hammered an unbeaten 107 off 44 balls, striking 10 fours and seven sixes and emerged as player of the match. Hasan Mudassar hit unbeaten 35.
