Gardner joins her teammates on the stage and lifts the trophy. Such a proud moment for her and the team. Have barely put a foot wrong right through the tournament. Time for them to soak in the celebrations as they take a lap around the ground. Oh careful - one of their support staff nearly drops the trophy and everyone has a giggle about it. Remember, it can get even better for the Rockets if the men follow suit and do the double when they take on Manchester Super Giants in a little over an hour. Gardner (2/2): I just felt like we've been fantastic throughout. We've got so much experience within our side, so I'm able to lean on different people out there as well. So it hasn't certainly been just all me. (Is there any particular moment outside of today that's pleased you the most?) Oh, it's probably hard to, I guess, pinpoint one moment. You know, people playing different roles. I think watching someone like Luffy come in was absolutely brilliant. At the start, obviously, we didn't have Nat for a few games there, so she really stepped up. She's changed her game so much, and she really just takes the game on and, I guess, just took a lot of pressure away from our middle order. And just to see that for someone of her age and her experience to keep wanting to get better, yeah, I guess she's just one person. But then also someone like Dunkley, who is, you know, just taking the competition by storm, and certainly really proud of her as a friend. But also just watching her perform on the biggest stage has been really pleasing to watch.

Ash Gardner | Trent Rockets captain (1/2): (How do you assess today's performance?) Yeah, it's just one of those games of cricket that, you know, if you asked me before the start of play if that's kind of the way that I would have loved for the game to go, I would have absolutely loved it. But I just think it's, different people have stood up at different times and it's been a fantastic campaign to be a part of. I've said it all along, but we're not relying on one or two people to, I guess, stand up in those moments. And as you saw today, Gaz was unbelievable, but people played their role, which as a captain, that's all you can ask. And then I guess to watch us approach the innings that we did, to really nullify the game in the power play, which is kind of what you want to do in those low totals. (You empower people to take on responsibility. How do you go about that?) I think for me it's just instilling belief. I'm never going to ride the emotion of what happens out on the field. You bowl a bad ball, we drop a catch, it is what it is. You can't always just go back to those moments and have to reflect on them. But I think I always see it as a learning opportunity. I feel like we've played some fantastic cricket out there, and it's just about giving the girls the belief that they have and that they're talented and they're there for a reason. So for me to do that, it's just being able to back the people that I've got out on the field with me, which I guess has, lent its hand to winning the trophy today.

Georgia Adams | Player of the Match: (You must be delighted with how things went today?) Yeah, it's a little bit surreal, to be honest. It's an amazing occasion and, you know, it's a great turnout once again. The girls beside me have been phenomenal all summer, so I certainly didn't expect to roll out of bed and be standing here stealing Dunk's sturgay today. But yeah, you know, it's amazing, amazing game of cricket and, you know, love watching the girls go about their business and be able to contribute as well. (You love playing in finals at Lord's?) Yeah, I think that's something that, you know, has been so wonderful about this team and coming in and being a part of. You know, there's so many natural leaders within the group, but equally very considerate leaders, I'd say. We're pretty happy to stand back and let Ash lead in the style that she wants to lead, and she's led from the front brilliantly. Can't fault her, really. And I thought the girls, stepped up at different times. We've got Nat out there on the pitch, who's incredible as well, and experience like Moons, and yeah, and so on. So I think we've used that to our advantage and certainly contributed to why we're probably standing up here today. (Touch on your own performance in the game) Yeah, it's amazing how sometimes you just have days where you can be a bit of a magnet. And yeah, it's such a confidence game, isn't it? You know, when confidence is running high, you can't seem to get out of the game. And yeah, it was a brilliant sort of fielding innings for us in general. And I think I'm not always the most glamorous fielder. I'm well aware of that, but I'll always try and throw myself around if I can. And yeah, it was one of those days where it just stuck. It was brilliant to be part of.

Sutherland | MVP of the tournament: It was nice to have that consistent contribution throughout. Loved the season with the girls. Credit to Trent - the best team all season. So, yeah, they deserved to be up there today. (How do the young players work on their roll, ground game more, and just get themselves involved?) I think enjoying the game is the most important thing. Being out there with my teammates and just competing really hard, that's what it's all about at the end of the day. (Tell us about your time with the Sunrisers Leeds?) Yeah, Headingley's such a beautiful cricket ground, so it was nice to be back there again. And a new-looking team, thoroughly enjoyed playing with the girls which was nice. But, yeah, new-looking staff as well. It was nice and refreshing, I guess, to have his (Adrian Birrell) insight on the game. I know everyone learned a lot from him and Susie Bates as well. So, yeah, obviously not our day-to-day, but, yeah, it was a really fun tournament. (Is there any contributions that stand out for you individually or just all-round as a team?) Oh, no, I don't think so. I think we sort of got a bit of a run on. There was a rain delay against the London Spirit, and that sort of was the moment that we, yeah, flicked the switch and got a bit of a run on. And, yeah, really proud of the group, the way that we gathered ourselves and found a way to win games, and did that really consistently through that middle bit of the tournament.

Nat Sciver Brunt: Everyone sort of chipped in, so it's sort of been a real group effort, which makes it so satisfying to be here walking a lap as winners. (Clearly found a formula that works quite early on and just seemed to stick with it throughout?) I think everyone's really bought into the way we wanted to go about it. We've had a few people in form as well, so yeah, it's been a great experience. And like you say, it's probably quite unique that it has happened so well. (When contributions from others come, does that somehow make you more relaxed or just enjoy your cricket more?) Yeah, maybe. I also like being in pressure moments and being able to be the one to perform as well, but like you say, we've had so many different people contribute. We've just been really enjoying it, to be honest. So yeah, loving my time.

Beth Mooney: (That must feel special) Yeah, amazing. I mean, you want to play in the big games for whatever team you play for, but, you know, for the girls to put on a clinic like that with the ball and not leave us too many to chase. And obviously, Dunkey has been whacking at the top of the order, so you can't have too many easier finals than that. (Is there anything that you change coming into a final?) Perhaps focusing a little bit more on my own game. I didn't have a great round season with the Trent Rockets, but thankfully everyone around me did really well, so it didn't really matter. But from my point of view, I think going into finals, you just have to be as relaxed as possible, as calm as possible, and almost take the outcome out of it. If you worry too much about the end result, you tend to get a little bit nervous. So I try and take that right out of it and put out some good energy to the group. And yeah, it came off today. (You've got something right that you're doing at Trent Bridge in the change room. What is it?) I don't know. I think Mick Newell knows what he's doing as director of cricket. That's probably a good start. And Chris Read's done a great job as head coach, along with Ash Gardner. So I think the vibe around the group's been unreal this tournament. There's a lot of experienced figures in our line-up, a lot of people that know what they're doing, and real clarity of role. So hopefully we keep the group together for a long time and win a few more titles.
